HTTPS – Secure HTTP
The HyperText Transport Protocol (Secure), the standard encrypted communication mechanism on the World Wide Web and this is actually just HTTP over SSL.
Advantages of HTTPS
- Same as HTTP, only encrypted for security purposes.
